McAvoy and Muir was founded by two long term friends, with more than a decade of experience each. United by a shared belief that homes deserve thoughtful, well run management. Jonathon McAvoy
Bringing over a decade of experience across property and client advisory roles, working on some of the most high value homes in the UK, with a background spanning residential lettings, portfolio management, sales and wider property operations. Jonathon has a clear understanding of how homes perform not just on paper, but in practice.
Jonathon is directly involved in the day to day management of properties, overseeing lettings, compliance, and ongoing care with a calm and considered approach. Known for his sound judgement and clear communication, Jonathon focuses on ensuring homes are well run, issues are addressed early, and standards are upheld consistently.
At McAvoy and Muir, Jonathon is involved in every home the business manages, applying his experience to deliver a dependable and well considered service for all clients.
Gavin Muir
With over a decade of experience in property investment and redevelopment, Gavin brings a practical, ownership led perspective to every home under management. As a landlord himself, he understands the importance of protecting both the day to day condition of a property and its long term value.
Gavin takes particular responsibility for maintaining standards across the portfolio, with a strong focus on proactive maintenance, presentation, and ongoing care. He approaches each home as if it were his own, believing that careful oversight and early intervention are key to successful long term lettings.
